Path to a GPM-b™ certification
Before you apply, make sure you meet one of the following sets of PMI-SP certification requirements:
Set A requirements
- Secondary degree
- 40 months of project scheduling experience within the last 5 years
- 40 hours of project scheduling education
Set B requirements
- Four-year degree
- 24 months of project scheduling experience within the last 5 years
- 30 hours of project scheduling education
Set C requirements
- Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree from a GAC accredited program (bachelor’s or master’s degree or global equivalent)
- At least 12 months spent in the specialized area of professional project scheduling within the last five consecutive years
- 30 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project scheduling*
*PMI accepts hours spent in training for Microsoft® Project and for other scheduling tools.
